Georgia Patrol

Gotta love those Georgia cops....I received my first speeding ticket yesterday since moving here. It was so frustrating because it was one of those situations where I normally watch my speed... but this time I happened to be flipping through radio stations and then of course noticed the cop...went to slow down and his lights were already on. Oh well, I guess I deserved it but you always feel there is a worse crime going on at that moment! I thought the cop might give me a warning since I haven't had a ticket at all in the 5 1/2 years we've been here, plus I am over 8 months pregnant right now, but no such luck. Guess I should have poured out the tears:-)

Bummer! I felt the same way when I got that ticket coming back from Minnesota...first one in a LONG time...so much for the perfect record!

that just plain sucks. Sorry 'bout that sis. Although, if you haven't had a ticket in 5 years, I can't say I feel too bad:) jk, that stinks.

You really have to watch out for those Georgia cops as they will sit at the BOTTOM OF A HILL and nail you--as they have done to me twice. And then there's the hard core guy that threw Jon in jail over the MAJOR offense of passing in the express lane. Sorry, Julie--feel your pain.

I feel your pain, too. My only ticket has been for not wearing a seatbelt, which I do 99% of the time. Like the cops have nothing better to do.....Feel bad for you, Jewels.

Dang! I know I am next. You should have acted as though you had to pee like right then!
